About
Brian is a writer and director working across film, TV and commercials.
His short film OF BEST INTENTIONS was nominated for an IFTA and won the Best Short Film Award at Belfast, Kerry, Raindance (London), Underground Cinema (Dublin) and Filmare (Rome). It also screened in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was described as “clever, challenging and visually splendid” by Liam Neeson.
His previous short film An Teanga Rúnda won at Cork, Belfast and received a special commendation at Foyle. It also screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Brian has several feature projects in development. He directed a proof of Concept for THE LIBERTIES TV series, which set the internet alight in early 2020. He is a co-creator of the series, which is currently in development with Screen Ireland.
