About
Brian’s debut feature film SPILT MILK premiered at Tallinn Black Knights Film Festival in 2024 and continues on the festival circuit. He directed the proof of Concept for THE LIBERTIES TV series, which set the internet alight in early 2020. He is currently developing the series with Screen Ireland.
Recently, Brian worked on THE EX-WIFE with Brian O’Malley for Paramount + and starring Janet Montgomery, Celine Buckens, Jordan Stephens and Tom Mison.
His short film OF BEST INTENTIONS was nominated for an IFTA and won the Best Short Film Award at Belfast, Kerry, Raindance (London), Underground Cinema (Dublin) and Filmare (Rome). It also screened in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was described as “clever, challenging and visually splendid” by Liam Neeson.
His previous short film AN TEANGA RUNDA won at Cork, Belfast and received a special commendation at Foyle. It also screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.
In addition to The Liberties, Brian has several feature projects in development.
