Christopher is a winner of HighTide’s First Commissions Award.  His play Build A Rocket won the Holden Street Theatre Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018.  It premiered at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough, his home town, and transferred to Pleasance London.  SJT also commissioned his play All Delighted People performed in 2018 in celebration of 40 years of youth theatre in Scarborough.

He has adapted and will direct Edgar Allan Poe’s classic The Pit & The Pendulum for Creation Theatre opening at The Bodleian Library, Oxford and Clapham Omnibus Theatre in 2018.  His latest play 212 is currently in development supported by the Arts Council.  Excerpts were featured at The Bunker and Theatre Deli in 2017 and it will premiere in 2019.
