About
Frans is a composer, conductor and instrumentalist with some 30 years experience scoring for the film, TV and advertising industries.
His award-winning score for THE KILLING was nominated for three Emmys and set the standard for original music in the ‘Nordic Noir’ genre. He followed with THE KILLING II, III & IV,all four series of AMC’s US version and the Turkish remake, CINAYET. His many other notable scores for Nordic, French, British and US producers includes the first series of award winning BBC1 drama DOCTOR FOSTER and the hit French thriller DISPARUE. He has also scored three Oscar nominated short films; Ernst & Lyset, Helmer & Son and Skal vi være kærester?.
